You know, I've been pondering on this a lot

Perhaps it is because of my past, I place a lot of emphasis on emotional safety and intimacy - I think when you are younger & still learning, this tends to take a backseat - but as they say experiences make you change your perspective - I would say feeling safe both emotionally and otherwise is a priority for me
