You know, in my native country it is quite common to ask "Where are you from?" But after moving abroad that sentence has taken a whole new meaning - similarly other personal questions that maybe the norm in the home country can be considered offensive and invasive nowadays - times have changed and I would say being mindful in communication has become very important -
