You know back in South Africa when we were kids, we had a small Christmas tree and my mom always played Christmas songs in the days leading up to Christmas - I don't recall receiving any presents but I am not complaning because it was a cozy time - family gathering, great food (my mom's a fantastic cook) and so on,,,

It is only after coming here that I realized what a big deal it is - sometimes I think it is all about who spends the most money - no wonder the stress levels are so high...
