You know, a year or so back, I was approached by Sangita Iyer who is a documentary maker for Natl Geographic to do a review her book about temple elephants of Kerala - it was an eye opening and heartbreaking read....I just didn't know such levels of animal cruelty existed and I eagerly undertook the project because I thought anything to help raise awareness for these majestic creatures
