You don't need to be in your 50's - I went to a couple of months of PT and it was $3K a month - I'm not talking about the x rays, MRIs and specialist visits - and I'm not even in my 50s yet - just imagine what a dent it would do to the retirement funds over time even if you have some sort of insurance cover
