You can say that again - from the time to the pandemic to the war in Ukraine - we are still experiencing the shock effects of that -

On a side note I am seeing a widespread removal of plastic bags both in the stores in the US and in places where I'm currently traveling - although I am happy to see such a proactive effort, I can't help but wonder what options (maybe even worse than plastic) that ppl will come up with to replace those bags -
