yes it plays an important role at least initially I would say....however, if it is on looks alone, that is never going to last because looks fade...

Someone once paid me a compliment and I just responded with a polite thank you - it ticked them off because they expected me to fall out of my chair in gratitude or something - I mean c'mon - let's be all adults here and enjoy a conversation without the hurt (childish) big egos here - it was so obvious why they gave me the compliment
