While growing up, as girls were expected to gain an education and a career but at the end of the day, the ultimate goal was to get married and settle down with kids. Career would always be secondary to the husband's and if he or in laws decided they wanted the woman to stay home and take care of the family then you obeyed or else... not anymore thank goodness - I live life on my own terms - not to please anybody
