When I read the title of some articles promising tips and tricks to earn you $100 a month on this platform, I chuckle because as you mentioned there are no guarantees and that's just the way it is - unless you have a viral article or two. Even then there is no guarantee for the next month. I think the key is to work on building a readership base and I don't mean followers but readers who actually read.
