This resonated - the thing is I wasn't self aware when I got married the first time - young and pretty much clueless as to what a marriage really entails - I have worked on myself and healing over the years but tbh I am still very scared of the whole marriage thing - once bitten twice shy and all that - perhaps it is the realization that love does not necessarily equate compatibility or the power dynamics change once you are living as husband and wife
