I went to Catholic school - no fun - we had to go to mass everyday rain or shine unless there was a medical reason -

We also had to attend mandatory retreats and religious ed - if you don't go to church on a Sunday you are considered like an outcast, a bad person (it is that deeply ingrained in my culture)

At the end of the day, my faith is personal - I still go to church but it is a choice I make because I want to, nobody forces me to
