This is so sad...

the pale face
of the sky
gazes upon the dust,
of lost stars — 
once abandoned, 
its essence 
divided,
created, 
a 
species 
too ignorant — 
and destructive,
the moon is blind
in the bleary sky,
mournful to part,
a world once 
beautiful.

This is so sad... especially the lost stars part...I have been on a journey of self discovery for the past few years....I do a lot of self reflection and ponder on the whys...some forever remain a mystery
