This is both a happy, yet sad story but it kind of puts the reality into perspective. Old age homes are by large very lonely places. I have wrote about how I used to volunteer one such facility - it was very expensive and had every luxury but the residents were lonely - that is why they needed companions like us because they had very few visits from family or friends -
