This is a topic I have pondered upon - in my area especially, women are expected to marry early (although that is slowly changing) - they manage studies, jobs and of course they are expected to have kids early too otherwise the questions & pressure increases - also, they are expected to manage job, family and in laws -

My mom is a career woman but until my grandma's time they had this image (encouraged by movies) of the quiet, selfless, sacrificing woman is the ideal woman/mom - and what's more, any deviation from the norm was met with harsh criticism or worse
