This hot home hard - I loved books and wanted to pursue something creative but my parents wanted me to pursue something that would get me a decent job (following one's passion and creativity is a thing now but not then) -

And I would say the same university degrees gave me little room to do any inner work or focus on myself etc -

I think I've come a long way in the last few years -
