The title drew me in - thank you for this story - I used to look forward to the holidays until I no longer do - I may sound like a grouch but christmas songs annoy me because everyone seems to be so focused on family and gatherings (after all tis the season to be jolly) - well not everyone has happy families and I for one don't know how to plaster on a fake smile and pretend that everything's okay (but am amazed at the hypocrisy that goes around 🙄)
