The sad thing is I don't think much has changed - parents will take decisions they think is best for their minor child sometimes without consulting them

I'm curious though - back when I was in South Africa teenage pregnancy was not uncommon and mothers and grandmothers all pitched in to raise the child/children - or that is what I saw
