The one thing I love about living in the US, especially in the NorthEast is that ppl don't ask invasive questions - they are mindful (for the most part) about asking personal questions while on the other hand in my home country personal questions are the norm (and they get offended if you get offended by their questions so no boundaries whatsoever) -

Also respect for elders and their decisions is still going strong so there is no much room for choice back in the home country -
