The trick here (or what I think is the trick he he) is to try out different things till you find the thing that clicks - I mean it should be something you are happy doing ans something you feel that you can build on (I tried a few different platforms as you know till I kind of felt which ones work and don't for me) -it takes time but yes, I'd rather try things out for myself than dive in....
