I think it would be helpful if you reach out to writers who have a writing background and who are estd on this platform - I write personal stories on Medium as well as in my submissions to other digital pubs and the editors there have been great working with me to develop my writing (although I feel I still have a long way to go so am thinking of taking a creative writing course 😊)
