She is a very brave woman and it is great that she was able to get out of the nightmarish situation - she also had the support of her family which is important otherwise she might have had to rely on shelters or women's organizations which are pretty good in helping these days -

The sad thing is some women feel they have no options and continue suffering in silence or take drastic actions to end the suffering
