From as long as I know - women in my culture are expected to be selfless - be it as daughter, mother, daughter in law or wife...Anything contrary would be considered selfish and def set a few tongues wagging -

I find it essential to practice self care - it took a long time for me to realize the importance of it but yea better late than never -
