Onece a commenter outright asked me if I understood some of the problems faced by third world countries - I don't understand how ppl assume things about me - I come from a third world country where running water and electricity were intermittent - we didn't even have a TV or a telephone for the longest time -

Although I am fortunate not to have experienced what these kids have, it resonates because these issues are rampant in my native country as well -
