One of the biggest diff in cultures I have noticed hereabouts is with regards to sun exposure - while in mine, it is recommended to stay out of the sun or use an umbrella or hat, here people like to baste in the sun (beaches) - it wrecks havoc with the skin and leads to premature aging

Nevertheless, wrinkles are inevitable and I too believe in aging gracefully :)
