Oh yea, I remember the time when my aunt (in the home country) started driving - ppl would say snarky things behind her back as if she was doing something immoral or whatever - and ppl are harsh on women drivers for the slightest mistakes - not only that ppl would opt for a male driven cab because they did not trust a woman cab driver to do her job right - I think things have changed a bit since then
