They overprescribe pain meds and can't do so for a genuinely painful procedure?

In my home country there wasn't any pain relief given during child birth no matter how much the level of pain for the longest time - the women had t suffer in silence because the nurses would yell at them to be quiet or even be mean by asking why they didn't think of such consequences when conceiving the baby - downright barbaric if you ask me - now they just c section away even if none is required - money making biz if you ask me
