My policy has always been - never live beyond your means - I don't have a fancy car just because my peers have one - perhaps it is because I also don't need to maintain an image or prove a point - I have never understood the point of having a fancy house which may take an entire lifetime to pay off - meanwhile what happens if you lose your job? And the good thing about keeping a low profile is nobody bothers asking for your money lol 😆
