My heart broke when I read this...horrific - how can ppl do this to children?? Or any human being for that matter?

But I do know how things are there - even as a child I have experienced the caning in schools there in the name of discipline - the weird part was teachers seemed to relish it and revel in their power to administer the caning 🙄
