Marriage, at least in my experience, is compromise - you do that for some peace in the family or out of love or whatever -

You can't step into a marriage thinking it will give you internal peace - that rarely happens -

And treating marriage as a means to an end is just selfish in my opinion - lot of room for disappointment then
