Lol you've had quite a few Christmas time adventures 😆

We had a small (fake) tree when were kids - those days there was family gathering and good food but us kids didn't bother if they were gifts or not since we were more interested in playing - I recall once (this was back in Africa) when were invited to a Christmas party by a Canadian family and I was surprised (and pleased) to see Santa had left me a gift ( moisturizer) under their Christmas tree 😊
