Let me tell you a story (inspired by this post) - there was once a retired widow who worked very hard to raise her 3 kids - she even pitched in to raise her grand kids until one day she was no longer deemed useful and so none of the kids wanted her - they left her at a place of retreat promising to pick her up but never showed - since she had sold her home, she had no place to go to so she had to move into a shelter for old ppl who had no other place to go...
