It's funny I had this conversation with a few of my close friends just yesterday - they all lied to me when I told them I was getting my impacted wisdom teeth removed by saying it was a simple procedure - I asked them why they lied becuse I am still in pain after two weeks! They were all smiling and said they stretched the truth a bit so I wouldn't be scared...

With friends who are not close, I tend to be diplomatic or neutral - that may mean stretching the truth a bit 😆 But no I wouldn't lie on serious things - it's just not my style...
