It is appalling - why deny education? Simply to keep women under the men's thumb, isn't it? It is true what the butterflies turning white symbolizes -the child bride could have grown up to be a doctor, teacher or anybody she wants to be and make a difference in her ppl's lives but what is she made to do instead??
