It does matter a lot - when I was a newbie I discovered many of my peers were trying to emulate the big writers - perhaps it works for certain niches, I don’t know - but a distinct voice helps a writer stand out in a sea of articles- just like the 3 exceptional writers you mentioned at the beginning 😊
