It depends - all my boosted stories are from different small publications - if you go with a pub that has a boost nominator, your chances are higher of getting a boost - also they have tightened down on the criteria so it makes it much harder - however lots of stories still get boosted

I have a few at my pub who got boosted and I think it has to do with the unique topic - cultural stories
