In the city I live in the side walks aren't that bad but heck since Covid hit many folks have decided that it's okay to let their dogs meander leash free - I love watching a dogs play at the park but not being repeatedly chased by the neighbor's unfriendly dog - and the neighbors don't even apologize! They are more concerned about the dog than me running like crazy
