In my home country, teachers are revered - it is one of the most highly respected professions - by that I mean the students value and respect their teachers - it was a bit of a shock after coming here tbh - and the stories in the news are disheartening not to mention sad...how do we expect the next generations to thrive in the school if we don't take care of those who teach them?
