I would say we are shaped by our life experiences - I am an introvert and prefer my company to others - it took a long time for me to accept the way I am because in this society if you don't fit in, then chances are you'd be considered an oddball or a snob or other things -

In that way, I love the writing community - there is opportunity for meaningful interactions while maintaining personal space - you read my post so I know you get it :)
