I would say I believe in God however my faith is personal and I don't impose my beliefs on anyone or try to change their minds - it is a choice

I once heard something I hold close to my heart - you do your part and surrender the rest to God

For example, if an opportunity presents itself but you are not ready for it simply because you did not prepare - you are just going to mess it up

But then that is just my perspective
