I wish women had the choice to choose everywhere as to what they want - but as I have said many times before, it is not often that simple. In some cultures, you don't get to choose whom you marry and how many children you get to have - irrespective of whether you are able to provide for them -

And sometimes women are their own worst enemies, unfortunately - the atrocities committed by other women (mother in laws and such) just because the daughter in law couldn't have a child or a boy child is horrifying -

My school friend in Africa (very clever and lots of potential) was married off to a widower 30 years her senior for the price of 2 goats before completing high school - as I said sometimes you just don't have a choice unless you run away or some such
