I wish I could say the same - sometimes I feel like I missed out on a lot - by that I mean I might have embarked on a self discovery journey much earlier and gotten on with healing if I had discovered writing earlier - as they say better late than never -

I have also found immense solace in books - I guess that helped ease the way into writing -
