You know, in my culture kids are expected to take care of parents - I don't know when this tradition began but it puts a tremendous strain on the kids and their families (except for those who want to do it willingly) - there has been a big shift from that tradition and as a result old age/assisted living facilities are booming - but then again some may become severely depressed if taken away from familiar surroundings/faces -
