I was listening to a story where a woman from a more conservative culture was talking about how she had to go to the airport early in the morning but missed her flight because she was harassed on the way and had to return to the safety of her home - the next day again she went for an early morning flight but this time accompanied by a male friend who saw her safely to the airport

It made me wonder at the irony of it all - and yes, I have heard too many (horrible) stories over the years about violence under the influence
