I was homeschooled for a few years - it was because of the constant bullying as I was neither black nor white growing up in apartheid South Africa and was picked on by both sides - while I didn't particularly like homeschooling (really wanted to do the whole school experience), it helped me become a self learner and a fast learner at that -

So I guess there are two sides to the coin
