I was having a similar discussion with a friend - they are starting their online business and am trying to see how I can build writing as a side hustle -I was wondering what would have been the case if I had started some years earlier when things were not this competitive and he said not to think about that - he said think about now and the fact that we at least started our respective journeys - and then there is timing and destiny and all of that....

But yes, I know creative ppl who hesitate or are afraid to take that initial first step ....
