I visited a few nursing facilities on my recent visit abroad - as an empath, I couldn't spend more than a few minutes because the weight of the loneliness and feeling of abandonment weighed heavily as a wet blanket - it was seriously depressing - it was a place for the elderly whose kids were abroad - so I am guessing there were few visitors
