I used to love sports as a kid - then academics took precedence and somehow sports took a backseat and eventually it became a non existent part of my life. In the boarding school I attended the girls who were athletes lived in a separate dorm so as not to interuppt the study times of the regular students with their comings and goings - they certainly were not commended for all the hardwork and effort they put into their sport as my culture tends to revere kids who show academic prowess -
