I totally get what you mean - it was the same for me when I first came to the US - the stages I mean -

And the funny thing is each state here is different (English, sports, manner of speaking, go to foods) - that I have to learn stuff all over again - tbh the adaption stage took the longest and I'm not even sure I'm there yet even after these many years - as I have mentioned before I'd like to move to a more chilled out place in the future - 💚
