Let me tell you about a conversation I had a couple of days ago with two other women - one of them made an interesting observation after each of us had talked about personal losses suffered, grief and responsibilities - she said when you look at someone (for example me) -you have no idea what the person is going through or dealing with so it is easy to make assumptions (oftentimes wrong) and pass judgement or a comment which is not only warranted but rude - but then again sensitivity is not a common trait
