I think what you have described is an issue many parents are facing - I live in a rich town and its best kept secret is that a lot of high school kids get into trouble for using or drinking - however, I am shocked how other parents refuse to believe it is a serious problem - or maybe they don't want to believe it is a problem? I don't think burying your head in the sand thing is going to work because the problem will not go away,,,
